Like the tagline on this site says, what I write here is just my view of things that happen in Jamestown and the surrounding area. I may not always be politically correct or religiously correct, but I will be thoughtful differing views. Everybody is entitled to their own opinion.
I have been publishing on the internet, in one form or another, since 1995. I had taken a “break” from blogging for a couple years, only because I felt myself becoming burned-out, and needed to re-focus on more important things in my life. I have been a Jamestown, ND resident since October of 1995. I am a father of five and grandfather of six (i.e. the more important things). For more than six years, I have been working a full-time graveyard shift at local business.
I have taken formal classes covering Mass Media, Marketing, and Accounting, and have studied, in-depth, social media and conversational publishing. My interests vary, widely, and listing them wouldn’t be helpful.
On this site, I do not plan to just repeat the news that has already been reported. I’d like to look deeper into the details of certain things, and maybe present a different view. Sometimes I will present a certain view in the hopes that somebody will be able to change my mind. If my mind cannot be changed, I would at least like to have interesting conversations about the differing views.
